Meet Cooper and Heidi!

Cooper has been working hard with pure grit and determination since joining us back in 2022. From being cut from his School South Coast Rugby League squad, to now becoming relentless towards his goals to bounce back achieve more than just the School South Coast Rugby League squad. His after more ever since. Boys will be discouraged from failure and confidence can be shaken. But once instilled with values and a new attitude, boys then become men. Learning that becoming a man is about stepping up to be a leader and creating a path for those to follow. Success doesn't make the man. Success is just the result of becoming a man with integrity, grit, discipline, consistency, and purpose.

Chelsea has been with us at Rivals since 2022 and has been absolutetly relentless towards her goals and growth. She loves putting in hard work at our program as well as working on her craft. Izzy has been training with us since March 2021 and has helped build Rivals to where it is today. Izzy is becoming one of the leaders of our program not because of her talent but because of her character. Her work ethic is second to none, and her attitude is unbeatable. Lucy has been training with us since November 2019. Lucy has been at Rivals since day one. She is a big reason for everything that Rivals is today. We love her willingness to grow as a person. Meet Maddi and Joanne!

Maddi joined us back in 2020 and has achieved being able to play in the HART Sapphire and Ruby Series for the Gold Coast Titans Netball Ruby Team back in 2022. The hard work and diligence of following through with everything within the program and out, has allowed her to experience the next level of high performance sport. It's taken a few years and some setbacks, but in the end we were glad we could help you achieve one of your goals at a netball athlete.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is involved in the youth strength and conditioning program?

The program includes:

  • x1-2 strength & conditioning sessions a week
  • Flexibility programs
  • Injury prevention programs
  • Nutritional guidance (what to eat before and after games)
  • Mental training (confidence, self-esteem, self-belief, and growth mindset)
  • Recovery methods/protocols (to recover faster)
Who is a good fit for the youth athlete strength and conditioning program?

This program is for boys and girls who are young athletes between the ages 10-18 years old. We are an exclusive program and we select based on character. We are looking for athletes with a desire to work hard, the ability commit to their goals, have a desire for self-improvement and growth, respectful and willingness to contribute to a positive community of young athletes like themselves.

How long does a session go for?

Each session lasts between 60-90 minutes.

When are the sessions?

We are open 4 days of the week with 8 sessions to pick from.

What does a session look like?

Every athlete will come in and do their own tailored and custom program that was designed for them, within a group setting with other athletes like them. The tailored programs include flexibility work, muscle activation exercises, injury prevention/rehabilitation exercises, balance/stability drills, brain and eye sight training, strength training exercises and recovery techniques.

Outside of the gym, the athletes will go through their mental training exercises, nutrition preparation and recovery protocols.

How long is the membership?

 

The memberships for our program run for 26 weeks. As we are looking for athletes that are willing to commit to their growth, progress, journey and goals. Majority of our athletes today have now been with us for a year or longer.

The younger generations of girls face more negativity, drama, and self-esteem issues than we’ve ever seen before. This holds many young passionate netball athletes back who want to rise to their potential. It is difficult to thrive when negative thoughts in your own mind hold you down, you don’t love who you are, your worth is determined by things you can’t control, and you don’t have the resilience to deal with adversity. Because whether you like it or not, negativity, drama, and politics are hard to avoid entirely. So, we must take it upon ourselves to help create strong young women who are more than capable of becoming the best versions of themselves. When you are confident and happy, no amount of negativity can bring you down. Failure does not slow you down, instead helps propel you to grow. One girl at a time, the netball community will become more positive. But it starts with you and your daughter. It begins with the person in the mirror.
